Day 1 – Botcher's Gap trailhead to Apple Tree Camp

Day one starts at 2200 feet, from Botcher's Gap Ranger station. It's basically straight up from the trailhead, then down a little bit to Apple Tree Camp.
Despite the hard climb, it feels great to back in Big Sur.
